ART Prices including VCRM's 100% Refund Plan
We have been offering our IVF Refund Plan to couples who have no insurance coverage for IVF since 2004. Couples will pay a set fee ($20,500) that will cover up to 7 fresh IVF cycles, and their resulting frozen embryo transfers. If couples do not achieve a live birth after the transfer of all the embryos resulting from these cycles, 100% of that amount will be refunded back to the couple to pursue other family building measures such as donor egg or adoption. The vast majority of our patients conceive on their first or second attempt, and it is extremely unusual for patients to exceed 3 cycles before achieving success. We continue to have the highest success rate in the greater Washington-Baltimore-Richmond area for the past 5 years. Most of our patients undergo their embryo transfers 5 days after egg retrieval at the blastocyst stage, which results in a significantly higher rate than a "day 3" embryo transfer that most programs in the DC area still use. Most of our patients have 1 or 2 blastocysts transferred (for those < 40 yo), and up to 3 blastocysts for women > 40. Our donor egg patients have only 1 or 2 embryos transferred.
Certain restrictions apply on the eligibility for this innovative program, and couples have to undergo specific testing to qualify for the plan (> 70% of women < 38 yo qualify). Each case will be reviewed by our scientific board, and a decision is then made on whether the couple will be offered inclusion in the IVF Refund Plan.
